# Do I need to remove codes after uninstalling?

The uninstalling process is very simple, you only need to DELETE the app on your backend.

Because this app doesn't need to add code to your store's theme in order to work, **you don't have to remove code** when uninstalling the app. Therefore, we can guarantee that our app won't interfere or affect your store after you remove it. 

**The app can ensure some GREAT benefits after removing the app:**

* NO NEED TO REMOVE CODES.
* All images which were previously optimized will **REMAIN OPTIMIZED.** 
* **Backup** your original images in **at least 30 days** from the last optimization actions. You can have more days of backup depending on your subscription plan: Free Plan (30 days), Basic Plan (60 days), Advanced Plan (180 days), and Professional Plan (365 days).
* **Restore your images** back to the original file within the back-up days. However, you need to re-install the app in order to revert your images after the uninstalling process.
